What is your favorite trip or adventure that you’ve experienced?

Thailand, without a doubt. I was lucky enough to travel there in January of 2018 with four of my best friends and spend two weeks exploring. We started off in Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai) and spent time exploring temples in the Old City, bathing with elephants, and hiking the beginning of the Himalayans. Chiang Mai provided us with some of the best street food that I have ever eaten. The second part of our trip was traveling south to the Islands of Thailand. During this time, we hopped from island to island, and I finally had the opportunity to scuba dive. I could go on for pages, but in the consideration of time and space, it was the most eye-opening experience of my life. If you have the chance… GO!

What is your favorite hobby?

My entire life, I have been a music lover; listening to whatever genre fit my mood. Back in 2011, I discovered the many genres of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) while attending a festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. I was hooked and promptly researched what it took to create that style of music. Fast forward to the present, and I can proudly say that I am an established DJ/Producer in the Richmond area. I play local shows and a few festivals around the country each year. This hobby has allowed me to flex my creative side and meet some truly incredible people along the way. Music is the universal language that brings people together, and I am blessed to be a part of it.

Who or what is your inspiration, and why?

Man, that is a tough question to answer! In all honesty, it would be impossible for me to narrow it down to one person, place, or thing. Inspiration comes from all aspects of life… Family and friends reaching their goals, a solitary hike through nature, reading a book, etc. Inspiration can also be found through failure and the negative space. Open your eyes and take in the world, because we are only here for a micron of a second in history. What a time to be alive, indeed.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice that I have ever received is, “Be unapologetically you, and follow the paths that inspire you. Be humble, be strong, and leave a positive mark on the world before you leave.”

What do you love most about your role at PWS?

I would have to say that sitting in on our client meetings is what I love the most. I am a people person, and I love the human connection. Being able to help in whatever way I can gives me a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.
